The AGEClaw is France’s Anti-Waste and Circular Economy regulation aimed to reduce waste in the fashion industry, promoting recycling and reuse, as well as prohibiting the destruction of unsold goods.

The law requires brands and manufacturers to use recycled materials and encourage consumers to reuse their clothing or send it for resale. Companies are encouraged to establish take-back programs to facilitate the recycling and repurposing of used garments.
